Your documents, photos, and expiry dates are stored only on your mobile phone. We do not operate cloud servers, we do not upload your documents anywhere, and we cannot access your files.
1. Your Documents and Photos
ExpiDoc is built to keep your personal data private:
Saved only on your phone: When you add or scan a document, the details (title, dates, and photos) are stored only inside your device's private storage.
No cloud storage: We do not upload or backup your personal files to external servers.
Full control: You can delete any document at any time. When deleted, it is permanently removed from your phone.
2. Services We Use
To keep the app free and provide timely notifications, we use trusted Google services:
Google AdMob: We show basic ads in the app to support development. Google may use standard, anonymous device information to show ads. Learn more at Google Ads Policy.
Firebase Notifications: We use Google Firebase to send you app updates, reminders, and helpful announcements. Firebase does not access or collect your personal documents.
3. Permissions Needed
The app only asks for permissions that are necessary for its features:
Camera: Used only when you want to take a photo of a document inside the app.
Notifications: Used to show you alerts before your documents reach their expiration date.
4. Data Deletion
Since all your document data is stored locally on your device, deleting documents inside the app or uninstalling the app permanently removes all your stored data.
